We finally had a long term goal realized yesterday! Our son, Eli, came out to the farm and hooked up a solar panel that is mounted on our electric golf cart. At 3:30 pm on one of the shortest days of the year it was putting 100 watts into the batteries.  It should put three times that much in the middle of summer. 

Harvesting solar energy is the basis of all agriculture and we just figured out another way to do that!
