Beef available as whole or half, parts not available
Ordering a half or whole beef
First, place your order by emailing pvpoultry@pvbroadband.com, or calling Jim at 417-293-0450.
Then mail your deposit of $200/half beef to: Peace Valley Poultry, 8290 County Road 1980, West Plains, MO 65775. We will let you know when the beef goes to the processor. (Next processing date is mid July 2024.) The butcher plant will contact you for cutting specifications. When we get the weights, we will tell you the cost of your beef, and send you a bill for the meat.
The beef will be finished within 2-3 weeks after we have it delivered to their plant. The processor will call you when your meat is ready for you to pick up.
When you pick it up at the processing plant, you pay them for their processing. Thanks!

Actual take home weight varies with your personal cutting order.
$2.00/lb live weight: Beef Cost, paid to Peace Valley Poultry.
Average live weight of whole beef is 1000-1200 lbs.
We guarantee the hanging weight will be 60% of the live weight. Example: a 1000 lb. live weight will have a hanging weight of 600 lbs.
Processing Cost, paid to the processor.
$.75/lb hanging weight, (whole order into ground beef, additional charge/lb.);
kill fee about $60 for half.
How It's Raised
We raise our steers 100% on pasture with no supplemental rations.
Our fields and cattle are managed with organic practices, but we are not USDA certified Organic.
We practice rotational grazing which gives grass and other forages longer rest periods allowing bigger root systems and greater nutrient utilization from the soil. This system also leaves more cover on the ground allowing soil bacteria to thrive, increasing organic matter, and nourishing the soil. We believe this gives the beef improved overall quality and flavor.
