2016 Spring News Notes

Glorious Spring Greetings!

Whole Chickens Because of the mild March weather, the first day of spring came and went without our notice. Perhaps for the first and last time, we will be processing chickens in March. We hesitated to advertise the March 29/30 sell date because of the potential for catastrophic weather events this time of year. The chickens are looking very good, and we should have extra fresh chickens for sale at: the farm (Peace Valley) on March 29, from 2 till 6 p.m., and in Springfield at Second Baptist parking lot at noon on March 30.

We will only have whole chickens on this first sell date. Ordering is not required if you get less than 10. If you want more than 10, please send an email (orders.pvpoultry@gmail.com), or phone (417-277-5212).

Starting April 26, we will be selling at the farm on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays (except in June, 1st and 3rd), and delivering to Springfield on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month through October. We plan to have parts then.

Prices will be the same as last year.

Shares: we will not be taking shares this year, but will honor those that were not used from last year. We deeply appreciate so many of you participating in this in years past.
