On Our Farm

It is a foggy morning on the farm. The moisture in the air, in addition to a little rain, is really adding to the pasture that the chickens, turkeys, and beef are eating. It is so refreshing to see the fields green up! Jim is receiving a load of GMO-Free soybeans this morning, and Isaac has driven several hours to get boxes for the chickens that we sell in bulk or freeze. The brooder boxes are being left empty, one by one, as the last batch of chicks for this season matures. The turkeys are out on their 34 acre lot, growing well. It is a busy time as we are preparing to provide for, and see more customers as people stock up chickens and beef for the winter; and preparing for our turkey days right before Thanksgiving.
