Beginning a New Season

It is that exciting time of year when our poultry season begins and the renewal of the earth occurs. There are hints that spring is really coming all around us.

As for the farm, we have two batches of baby chicks so far, getting ready for our first sale days. It is good to hear their familiar peeping. The new order pages are up on our website, and most of the information is updated for this new season. We are recruiting this year’s workers and looking forward to a good year.

The song of the wild birds brings a special joy to the mornings now. Daffodils, forsythia, and other flowers cheer up our way outside, as well as making lovely bouquets inside. It is nice to see the green grass as well.
